Laughter Love Laugher Yoga (Hasya Yoga) is focused on providing a high quality service and customer satisfaction - I will do everything I can to meet your expectations.
I am a fully certified Laughter Yoga Leader based in Newcastle / Gateshead.
Although based within the North East, I can am able to complete sessions within Cumbria, Yorkshire, Scotland, and occasionally further afield.
(Note: During the Covid-19 pandemic, delivery of workshops and classes has been adjusted in relation to guidelines and safety measures).
Laughter Yoga is a relatively new and unique concept whereby anyone can laugh for no reason by completing Laughter Yoga exercises as instructed by the leader.
There are 4 components to Laughter Yoga:
- Childlike behaviour;
- Yogic breathing (pranayama) - which increases levels of oxygen in the body
and flushes out toxins; - Stretching and
- Laughter yoga exercises.
'Laughter is a universal language, and it is something that all humans are able to do. While handshakes, hugs, and bows all have varying meanings across cultures, smiling is known around the world and in all cultures as a sign of happiness and acceptance. Numerous species demonstrate vocalizations similar to human laughter. A significant proportion of these are mammals, including non-human primates, which suggests that the neurological functions involved in expressing cheer occurred early in the process of mammalian evolution.' Laughter Yoga can be used for stress management and can be beneficial for care support groups, dementia groups, day centres and as part of a respite program.
You may also like to try some laughter yoga at home with friends, for parties, group activities, retreats, as well as many more events.
I offer laughter yoga classes and workshops, including corporate team building exercises leading to increase in staff wellness & productivity.
I am also able to offer laughter yoga parties and will be offering parent & toddler sessions soon.
Costs for individuals attending sessions will vary depending upon the location.
